Carbon-Infused Hose Filter

The carbon hose filter typically lasts 3-6 months when used only to fill the cold plunge. Each filter is rated for 8,000–20,000 gallons, so occasional plunge refills use only a small portion of its capacity.

Using a carbon filter helps ensure the cleanest possible starting water by:

• Removing chlorine and chloramine
• Reducing sediments, rust, and particulates
• Improving water clarity and freshness
• Extending the life of your cold plunge’s internal filtration system

Cleaner fill water means less maintenance and longer intervals between water changes.

It depends on the system:

• Whole-house carbon filtration: You may not need an additional hose filter, though it can still provide an extra “final polish” to the water.
• Water softener only: A softener does not remove chlorine or contaminants, so a hose filter is still recommended.
