The Nordic Wave Viking has simply made my life better. I was first introduced to the Viking when I was a rookie golfer competing in tournaments. Love my cold plunge! Researched for a while and this is the only and best vertical cold plunge available. “Step case” is super sturdy, stone mat is great- nonslip and dry quickly. I love my sauna then cold plunge routines. I set it indoor so I can use it year-round. Tub filler and drain valve is set up for easy access. Compressor is super, temperature is reached very quickly. Products are better than picture, quality is good and sturdy. our original design was to box the cold plunge and build bench to cover compressor. But after receiving the products we decided it is not necessary to cover them. the video and materials were helpful to plan the space and set ups. very pleased with it.

I’ve been using my plunge everyday for about a month. I got the standard chiller and it typically keeps the water within 1F of the setpoint. The water also stays loaded with tiny bubbles and is very clean. Probably the only thing I would change about the whole setup would be the addition of a seal on the tub lid. I live in the woods and the tub seems to attract insects which can crawl right beneath the lid handles and either fall into the water or perch against the tub wall (surprise). Honestly, it’s not a big enough gripe to give it four stars. The chiller works well, the plunge is stable and the purchasing/shipping process was quick and painless. I also used my HSA which was super easy. I’d say, for the price point, you’re not likely to find a better setup in this market.

The Nordicwave has been just as advertised! Easy to use and delivers all the benefits I hoped for. Very active pickleball player, 4-5 days a week for 2-3 hours and knees use to feel it. So much better after doing my 4 minute plunge at 48 after each session. Additional benefit is it also helps me to sleep better through the night.
