Limited Manufacturer's Warranty

We are pleased to offer you our limited manufacturer's warranty to cover any defects or malfunctions that may occur with your Nordic Wave Viking Cold Plunge System. If you receive a product damaged in shipping, please contact our customer service team with photos and information at support@thenordicwave.com.

Upon purchase, Nordic Wave customers receive a 5-Year Limited Warranty that applies only to non-commercial, in-home, or residential use of the Nordic Wave Viking Cold Plunge System. The warranty covers replacing parts that have defects in materials or workmanship of any parts manufactured or supplied by Nordic Wave, and it covers defects or malfunctions that arise during normal use conditions. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser (or original owner for a product presented as a gift) and only covers defects discovered within the applicable Limited Warranty period. The water chiller is warrantied for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery, with an extended warranty available for purchase.

Additional Warranty Details

Please note that the warranty does not cover cosmetic issues resulting from normal wear, water retention, any surface contamination from exposure to the environment, and inclement weather. It also does not cover damage due to poor water quality, neglected filter care and replacement, freezing conditions, power outages, lack of attention to low water flow, or any other form of neglect, misuse, or abuse.

We guarantee that your Nordic Wave will not crack and will remain free from material defects as long as the Viking Cold Plunge System is used for its intended purposes and is subject to reasonable maintenance. However, please note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, relocation, accident, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Additionally, any damage caused by the proper or improper use of our products to any surrounding surfaces, structures, or furnishings is not covered by this warranty.

In the event that your Nordic Wave product needs to be warrantied, the customer is responsible for all shipping & handling.

Finally, please note that Nordic Wave, LLC is held harmless for any injury or death caused by the misuse of this product.

Warranty Exclusions

  1. Misuse or Abuse - If the Viking Cold Plunge System becomes damaged because it was used for purposes other than its intended use or was subjected to conditions that exceed its designed capacity.

  2. Modifications to the Original Product - Any modifications to the Viking Cold Plunge System that alter its original design or functionality will render it unqualified for warranty repair. This includes unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications to the electrical chiller unit. Such actions can compromise the safety and functionality of the system, thereby voiding the warranty protection.

  3. Neglect or Lack of Maintenance - The Viking Cold Plunge System requires regular maintenance to operate efficiently. Neglecting routine maintenance, such as failing to replace filters or not maintaining proper water quality, can lead to system malfunctions. Damages resulting from such neglect or lack of maintenance are not covered under this warranty. Please refer to the maintenance guidelines provided in the user manual to ensure your warranty remains valid.

  4. Damage Caused by Natural Disasters or Environmental Factors -  The manufacturer does not assume responsibility for damages caused by natural disasters or environmental factors, including hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding, tornadoes, mudslides, heat waves, etc. To protect your Viking Cold Plunge System, we recommend unplugging the electrical chiller unit and isolating all water supply lines during such events.

  5. Tampering -  Any evidence of tampering with the Viking Cold Plunge System, such as attempts to troubleshoot or repair the electrical chiller unit without professional assistance, will invalidate the warranty. It is recommended to contact a certified technician for repairs to ensure your warranty remains intact.

  6. Damage Due to Drops - Physical damage resulting from dropping the Viking Cold Plunge System or any of its components, including the electrical chiller unit, is not covered by the warranty. This includes cracked or broken parts due to impact.

  7. Damage Due to Accidents or External Factors - Damage to the Viking Cold Plunge System caused by accidents or external factors is not covered under the warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, damage from fire, voltage fluctuations, vandalism, water intrusion, sand, insects, or similar events. It is important to take preventive measures to protect your system from such risks to ensure its longevity and performance.

  8. Damage to the product caused by shipping or transportation.

  9. The customer does not present a copy of the purchase invoice.
