Yes, you can! When the temperature reaches below freezing, we recommend unplugging or turning the chiller off to protect the chiller from any elements. The insulated walls will prevent the water from completely freezing, but your water will not have the regular chiller functionalities (ozone therapy, filtration, chilling).

Yes, there is plenty of room to accommodate most heights.

The inside of The Viking has no steps or seat. The buoyancy of the water allows you to sit in comfortable squatted position without putting any pressure on your joints. Your body will naturally find this position.

Yes, the chiller can be plugged into a standard wall outlet (120V).

The coldest temperature setting is 38° Fahrenheit.

Nordic Wave covers the cost of shipping the Viking to you. *All sales are final on refurbished items and are not eligible for returns.

It is recommended replacing them once a month. Water quality may vary based on location.

Yes! If bubbles are coming out of the top port inside of the Viking, this is a good sign. This shows that there is optimal water flow and that the water filter is clean. If you do not see bubbles, please change your filter immediately.

Best small footprint cold plunge on the market
Great product, easy set up, keeps water on temp. Also perfect size for me at 6' 2". I strongly recommend for anyone who is on the fence, pull the trigger!

Be healthier & more successful with the Viking
The Viking is the best and only way to start the day. It has made us healthier (working out more, better mental health) and more successful (more creativity, better focus) while helping with both chronic inflammation and minor injuries from workouts & yard work. It's also super easy to use and maintain. If a viking was put in a time machine, they would come to 2024 to use this cold plunge and endorse this product 100%. There are no competitors to the Viking, because it's in a class of its own!

Couldn’t be more pleased with my choice
I waited 30 days before my review so I could add details I didn’t see in other reviews. I’ve had no issues with the plunge’s delivery, set-up, daily use, functionality or power use. I’m estimating my monthly power cost to be in the ball park of $25-35 US dollars in California with high-ish electricity cost.
The plunge is now part of my near daily routine. Love it. No regrets.
I also waited until Nordic Wave implemented an easy one step use of my HSA funds. I was able to buy my plunge with tax free dollars in line with my HSA guidelines (Kaiser HSA, with a Bank of America debit account). Nordic Wave’s site was easy to navigate and complete the steps for a letter of necessity and payment.
I’m running the unit at 48 degrees. Thrilled with my personal results and decision to go vertical plunge after one year of using a bathtub at home with a more traditional horizontal entry, etc. The vertical set up is easy for me to enter and exit (5’9”).
