Warner's Well
Welcome to Warner’s Well
People ask me all the time what I take, what I use, what I’ve tried. So I figured I might as well put it all in one place. Over the years, I’ve tested more products, treatments, and protocols than I can count — on myself. Some worked, some didn’t, but all of it taught me something.
If this helps one person, great. If it just gets you thinking differently about your health, even better.
A Note from Warner
I didn’t set out to become obsessed with health — it was a necessity. When you’re trying to heal and nobody seems to have the answers, you either stay stuck or you start figuring it out yourself. I chose the latter.
That meant taking control, doing the research, and becoming my own experiment. I’ve gone down just about every path you can imagine — from detoxes and fasting to advanced therapies and biohacks most people have never heard of. Some things worked, some didn’t, but every attempt taught me something about how the body actually heals.
If the logic makes sense and the risk-reward ratio is tolerable, I’ll try it. That’s how I’ve learned to separate what’s real from what’s just good marketing.
The truth is, the hardest part of getting healthy today isn’t the effort — it’s the noise. Everyone’s an expert. I’ve spent years cutting through that — experimenting, tracking, failing, and refining until I started to see what actually works.
Some people think prescriptions are poison. Others believe supplements are a scam. The truth, in my opinion, lives in the middle — what's called functional medicine. Prescriptions are powerful tools when they’re actually needed, but not for every ache, cold, or ear infection. Modern medicine is incredible, but it’s overused. On the flip side, taking curcumin for a broken leg won’t fix it either. Match the fix to the problem — that’s where most people miss.
Start with the basics: diet, sleep, stress, movement, detox, mindset. Build the foundation. If that’s not enough, use the tools modern medicine gives us — smartly, not reactively.
The world is changing fast. Covid woke people up — mental and physical health matter. Sitting inside, not moving, avoiding people — that’s not health. The one thing all Blue Zones have in common is community. People need people.
Access matters too. You shouldn’t have to pay a fortune or wait months just to understand what’s going on in your own body. I run most of my labs and data through ChatGPT to get 90% of the insight, then I confirm it with my doctors. That combination — smarter tech plus good practitioners — is where healthcare is headed.
We’re entering an era of preventative health and smart healing. New startups are building tools that empower people to take control of their own data, their own biology, their own decisions. It’s exciting — and it’s where I spend a lot of my time experimenting.
At the end of the day, you’re the team manager of your own body. Nobody knows it better than you. Don’t be afraid to challenge the status quo, your doctor, or anyone else. Learn, test, listen, adjust.
Trust your gut.
And heal it.
What I Recommend
After years of testing just about everything — products, supplements, devices, and therapies — these are the ones that stuck. Nothing here is sponsored, nothing here is trendy for the sake of it. These are the things I actually use, notice results from, and would recommend to a friend without hesitation.
🧴 Products
Water Filtration: Rorra is NSF-tested to remove lead, forever chemicals, microplastics, and more. Clean water is one of the easiest and most impactful upgrades you can make for your health. I use Rorra daily for both home and office — it’s simple, effective, and actually looks good on the counter. CODE: NORDIC for 15% off.
Shower Filter: Rorra also makes a great shower filter that targets chlorine, heavy metals, and other contaminants. It lasts about 90 days, has solid water flow, and doesn’t ruin your bathroom aesthetic. If you’re filtering your drinking water but still showering in city water, you’re missing half the battle. CODE: NORDIC for 15% off.
Air Purifier: AirDoctor is a low-EMF, medical-grade purifiers that actually remove ultrafine particles and VOCs. I keep units in my main rooms and in the nursery. Indoor air quality is one of the most overlooked pieces of recovery and long-term health, especially for mold issues.
Sleep: EightSleep is one of the best investments I’ve made for recovery. It automatically adjusts temperature to keep you in deep sleep longer. Combine that with blackout curtains and blue-light blockers, and your sleep quality will change fast.
Coffee: Purity Coffee is the only brand I drink. It’s organic, mold-free, and tested for pesticides and mycotoxins — which most coffees aren’t. You can feel the difference immediately: no jitters, no crash, just clean, sustained energy. Coffee is one of the most sprayed crops on the planet, so if you’re drinking it daily, quality matters. Purity sets the standard. CODE: NORDIC20 for 20% off.
Red Light Therapy: HigherDOSE makes one of my favorite recovery tools. Red light is simple, low-risk, and effective. The mat combines red and infrared wavelengths to boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and support cellular repair. I use it after cold plunges or before bed to calm the nervous system and reset.
PEMF Mat: The HigherDOSE PEMF Mat helps recharge your cells and regulate your nervous system using low-frequency electromagnetic waves. It promotes relaxation, recovery, and deeper sleep. I’ll use it mid-day while working or before bed to ground my body and reset.
Detox Foot Bath: The Ion Foot Cleanse is a simple way to support lymphatic flow and detox pathways. It uses ionic charge to help draw out toxins through the feet. I use it during detox phases or after sauna sessions — subtle but noticeable, especially when combined with other drainage work.
Minerals: Zuma’s fulvic and trace ocean minerals are the best absorption I’ve found. Minerals are foundational — especially during detox, fasting, or heavy training. I mix them into my morning hydration or creatine drink every day.
Creatine: I use Thorne’s pure creatine monohydrate. It supports methylation, energy production, and recovery. It’s one of the simplest, most research-backed supplements out there — and almost everyone benefits from it.
Magnesium: Magnesium glycinate before bed helps with muscle recovery and relaxation. I’ll rotate malate or threonate depending on stress, focus, and sleep quality.
Probiotic: Seed DS-01 or a rotating custom strain depending on where my gut is in the cycle. Quality matters, but so does timing and rotation — the body adapts fast.
Detox Support: Activated charcoal, chlorella, and fulvic acid. I rotate binders depending on the phase I’m in — mold, metals, or gut cleanup. The key is to use them intentionally, not every day forever.
Underwear: NADS. I sauna almost every day, and most underwear just isn’t built for that. When synthetic fabrics heat up, they release chemicals right where you don’t want them. NADS makes a clean, breathable option that holds up under real use — no toxins, no overheating, just a solid fit that stays comfortable through training, sauna sessions, or daily wear. It’s one of those simple swaps that actually makes a difference.
Sauna: Clearlight infrared saunas are the best I’ve found for home use. I use the Sanctuary 2 model — low EMF, high heat, and big enough to stretch or meditate inside. Sauna stacking with a cold plunge is one of the best recovery tools I’ve found for stress, inflammation, and clarity.
Cold Plunge: Nordic Wave — my own company — was built because nothing else performed the way I wanted. It’s engineered for consistency, durability, and ease of use. The cold plunge is my daily reset for energy, inflammation, and mental focus.
Wearables: When I use a wearable, I use Whoop for tracking HRV, sleep, and recovery. I go back and forth on the data vs. trusting just how I feel.
⚡️ Therapies & Actives
Cold Plunge + Sauna Stacking: My non-negotiable. I use this combination almost daily. The sauna drives circulation, boosts detox, and relaxes the body. The plunge shocks the system awake — dropping inflammation, improving focus, and resetting the nervous system. Together they do more for recovery and mental clarity than almost anything else I’ve found.
Fasting: I use intermittent fasting (usually 16:8) to maintain metabolic flexibility and give my body a daily reset. Every few weeks, I’ll do a 24-hour fast to push deeper detox and autophagy. Longer fasts can be powerful, but you have to build into them — it’s stress on the system, so treat it that way.
Ozone Therapy + UV Blood Irradiation: Both of these are tools for immune modulation and detox support. I’ve used them during chronic infection phases and major detox cycles. They’re not everyday therapies — more like surgical strikes when the body needs help clearing inflammation or pathogens. Always under medical supervision.
IV Therapy: I’ll do NAD+, Myers cocktail, or glutathione IVs occasionally — not weekly. They’re helpful during heavy detox, travel, or stress periods, but not a replacement for good nutrition and sleep. Used strategically, they can accelerate recovery and support mitochondria.
Peptides: I’ve used BPC-157 and TB-500 for injury recovery and inflammation control. Peptides can be incredibly effective when used correctly, but they should always be guided by a professional who understands dosing and timing.
Breathwork: Daily breath practice is one of the fastest ways to control your nervous system. I use structured breathwork through Nordic Flow — HRV-based sessions that balance stress, improve focus, and calm inflammation. It’s active meditation that you can feel instantly.
NET (Neuro-Emotional Technique): The most effective mental and emotional reset work I’ve found. It’s therapy with action — identifying stored stress responses and physically rewiring them. It’s helped me process and release things that talk therapy never could.
Lymphatic Work: Movement drives detox. I use dry brushing, a rebounder, sauna sessions, and foot baths to support drainage and circulation. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps everything moving — especially during active detox protocols.
Testing: I run comprehensive labs every six months — blood panels, GI-MAP, heavy metals, and methylation updates. Data helps you understand trends before they turn into symptoms. The goal is to catch small changes early and adjust before they become problems.
