The Viking features a sloped floor design for effortless draining. A drain valve is located at the bottom port, allowing you to connect a garden hose for easy water removal. When it is time to drain the unit, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the chiller
2. Close both grey isolation valves
3. Connect a garden hose to the bottom drain valve
4. Open the drain valve to release the water from the system

Please note that after refilling the Viking, you will need to reopen both grey isolation valves and plug the chiller back in to resume operation.

The coldest temperature setting is 35° Fahrenheit with both the Standard and Elite Chillers.

Yes, the Viking tubs can fit through standard doors, but it’s important to measure first: the Classic Viking is 30 inches wide and will comfortably fit through most residential doors, which are typically 32 inches wide, while the XL Viking is 33 inches wide and may require a 34-inch or wider opening—more common in commercial settings where doors are usually 36 inches wide. Always verify your specific doorway width before ordering.

The inside of The Viking has no steps or seat. The buoyancy of the water allows you to sit in a comfortable squatted position without putting any pressure on your joints. Your body will naturally find this position.

The Viking Cold Plunge is insulated and designed for indoor or outdoor use within recommended temperature ranges. If ambient temperatures reach or fall below 14°F, the system must be properly drained and stored in a temperature-controlled environment to prevent freeze damage. For best results, using an HVAC or vacuum system to remove residual water is strongly recommended to ensure complete drainage. Freeze damage resulting from failure to follow these requirements is not covered under warranty.
